Important

All children under 8 years old must be accompanied by a person of at least 14 years old. Children under 8 must be within arm's reach of the person by whom they are accompanied. The maximum number of children under 8 years old for one parent/guardian is 3.

Find swim times for each day of the week.

The last half hour of public swim, the features are always off.
"Features on" are all water features - waves, water slides, and spray features.
"Features off" means all water features are off - waves, water slides and spray features.

Public swim: 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Features off, 1 to 2:30 p.m.
  - Features on from 2:30 to 5 p.m.
- Features off, 5 to 6 p.m.
  - Features on from 6 to 7:45 p.m.

Monday

Public swim: 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Features on from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Tuesday

Public swim: 9:00 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Features on from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Wednesday

Public swim: 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Features on from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Thursday

Public swim: 9:00 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Features on from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Friday

Public swim: 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Saturday

Public swim: 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Features off, 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Lessons and programs

We offer swim lessons for all ages and skill levels. Private lessons are available if you would like to improve your swimming skills or try something new.

Swimming lessons and programs

Fitness classes are also available like aquafit.

We host a variety of special events throughout the year. Some of the events include pool parties and diving clinics.

Drowning prevention week

Learning activities and in water fun for ages 8 to 12. At the InnovationPlex Battlefords CO-OP Aquatic Centre from 6 to 9 p.m. Registration is required and cost $10 this registration includes a pizza supper.

Water safety games and activities are led by Lifesaving Society Swim Instructors.

Swim to Survive Challenge July 23

Come for a swim (regular rates) and ask for a lifeguard, and you can obtain a certificate.

Water Safety Presentation July 24

At 2 and 6 p.m. we will be clearing the pool for a 10-minute presentation on water safety. Spectators are welcome, regular swim rates apply for swimmers.

In-water Memory Game July 25

Come for a swim (regular rates) and ask for a lifeguard to play an in-water memory game, this is an all day event.

Free 30-minute Swimming Lesson July 26

We are hosting free swimming lessons between 12 and 2 p.m. Registration is required.

Lessons for preschool 1 to 4: 12 to 12:30 p.m.
Lessons for preschool 5 to Swimmer 3: 12:30 to 1 p.m.
Lessons for Swimmer 4 to Swim Patrol: 1 to 1:30 p.m
Lessons for Preschool 5 to Swimmer 3: 1:30 to 2 p.m.

Registration for classes are capped at 30 people per half hour block.

Facility information

The Battlefords CO-OP Aquatic Centre opened in 2012 and is one of the components of the InnovationPlex. It has a six-lane lap pool, a wave pool, two waterslides, a lazy river, a whirlpool, and a steam room. Our goal is to provide fun activities and various types of affordable programming for all ages.

We are looking for individuals interested in becoming a lifeguard and/or providing instruction during weekdays. We offer flexible hours to work around your family life!
