A Versatile Venue, All Year Round

When the ice thaws, the Access Communications Centre transforms into a versatile hub for a variety of community events. It's the perfect setting for:

  • Concerts
  • Dances
  • The annual Kinsmen Indoor Rodeo
  • Pow Wows
  • The Shrine Circus
  • and many more local gatherings!

Additionally, the upper auditorium is available for smaller, more intimate events like banquets and private functions.

Arena information

The Access Communications Centre is the proud home of the Battlefords North Stars of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. This arena features a spacious 200 by 85 foot ice surface, complete with 8 foot seamless glass for an unobstructed view. With seating for 2,500 spectators, it's the ideal spot to cheer on your favourite team.

Beyond hockey, Skate Battlefords also offers its programming here and at other local rinks.

Starts after Thanksgiving weekend

Free public skating

Saturdays from 12:15 to 1:45 p.m. 

Times are subject to change.

Starts mid-October

Free noon-hour shinny

Tuesday to Friday from 12 to 1 p.m.

Players must be 18 years or older. Helmets, sticks, gloves, and skates are mandatory.

Location: Kinsmen Splash Park, just off 18th Avenue in Kinsmen Park
