Council meetings
Council holds regularly scheduled meetings once every two weeks on the second and fourth Mondays of each month, unless otherwise stated. Meetings start at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers at the Don Ross Community Centre, or you can join remotely via Zoom. Information about Zoom links can be found on our meeting page.
Presenting as a delegation to Council
Requests and documentation to appear as a delegation, for which a hearing is not required, must be communicated to the City Clerk in writing before 5 p.m. on the Friday which is a full week before the Council meeting and must include:
- the name and correct mailing address of the spokesperson;
- telephone number where the representative of the delegation can be reached during the day;
- originals signed, except when submitted by facsimile or email;
- clearly set out the subject matter to be discussed and any requests to be made to Council; and,
- Delegations must be 10 minutes or less - this allows for the appropriate questions from Council.
