Privacy Statement

As a local government organization, the City of North Battleford is committed to collecting, protecting, and using personal information responsibly. The privacy and security of personal information collected is managed in accordance with The Local Authority Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.

Information Gathering

The City of North Battleford does not automatically gather any personal information such as your name, phone number, email, or address. This information is only obtained if you supply it voluntarily through contacting us via email, online forms, telephone or by setting up a user account or by purchasing a property within city limits.

While you browse the City website, some personal information may be requested and voluntarily provided by users requesting web based services, including but not limited to, notification sign up, image download, online survey’s, Service Tracker and other similar services.

General statistics such as page hits, pages accessed, and files downloaded are tracked in order to improve the website as a whole. No personal information is collected for this purpose.

The City of North Battleford may also retain electronic communications sent to customer service representatives, Website Administrators, or other employees. These electronic communications may be shared with other City employees as a means to continually improve customer service.

Disclosure

The City of North Battleford considers individual information to be confidential. It is the policy of the City to not disclose any personal information gathered online or in the conduct of our daily operations to third parties unless disclosure is required by law or for the purposes of a criminal investigation.

The City of North Battleford does not sell, rent, or transmit personal information to other organizations.
