Supervision Requirements for Children Under 8 Years Old

  • All children under 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult who is at least 14 years old.
  • Children under 8 must remain within arm's reach of the accompanying adult at all times.
  • A maximum of 3 children under 8 years old may be supervised by one parent or guardian.

  • Wednesday, December 31st (New Year's Eve): Open for limited hours (TBA)

  • Thursday, January 1st (New Year's Day): Closed

During the last half hour of public swim, all water features are turned off. 

"Features on" refers to active water features, including:

  • Waves
  • Water slides
  • Spray features

"Features off" means all these water features are deactivated for the final 30 minutes of the public swim session.

Public swim: 1 to 8 p.m. Three swim lanes open.

  • 1 to 2:30 p.m. features off 
  • 2:30 to 5 p.m. features on 
  • 5 to 6 p.m. features off
  • 6 to 7:30 p.m. features on

Monday

Public swim: 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Four swim lanes open.

  • 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. features off

Swimming lessons: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

  • No public swim for swimming lessons. The hot tub and steam room are available

Public swim: 6:30 to 9 p.m. Four swim lanes open.

  • 7 to 8:30 p.m. features on

Tuesday

Public swim: 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Four swim lanes open.

Lessons and courses

We offer swim lessons for all ages and skill levels. Private lessons are available if you would like to improve your swimming skills or try something new.

Did you miss out on spring swim lessons?

We have started a waitlist if you did not get a spot in the spring swim lesson sessions. If any openings become available, we will contact those on the list.

Facility information

The Battlefords CO-OP Aquatic Centre opened in 2012 and is one of the components of the InnovationPlex. It has a six-lane lap pool, a wave pool, two waterslides, a lazy river, a whirlpool, and a steam room. Our goal is to provide fun activities and various types of affordable programming for all ages.
