Parking

The City enforces parking restrictions to make sure parking is available for residents and visitors.

If you get a parking ticket, you can pay your parking ticket:

  • Online
  • In person at City Hall during regular business hours
  • By mail: PO Box 460, City of North Battleford, SK S9A 2Y6
  • Drop box at City Hall, at the door closest to the corner of 13th Avenue and 101st Street

The Traffic Bylaw includes many important parking rules, such as:

If you have construction planned and need to use the street for equipment, be sure to get a Temporary Street Use Permit

Downtown parking is enforced from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. Parking is free after 5 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays, and on statutory holidays.

There are many different types of parking available downtown, such as:

  • Free 2-hour on-street parking
  • Free 2-hour off-street parking
  • Paid off-street parking
  • Paid permit off-street parking

Our downtown restricted parking areas map shows the location of each option. Accessible parking spots are available throughout the downtown. A Temporary Street Use Permit is required for any work that will take up parking, street, or sidewalk space.

If you work downtown and need parking, the City has annual parking permits in many parking locations available for lease. Details about parking leases are available to assist.

SaskAbilities runs the Accessible Parking Program. Visit their website for more information about the program, or to apply for or renew your permit. If you have a permit, please make sure to properly display your permit while parked.

Dispute your parking ticket

If you are issued a parking ticket you would like to dispute it, you will have to go to Bylaw Court.
Here is the the process for disputing a parking ticket:

  • Do not pay the ticket
  • Receive a Summons to appear at Bylaw court
  • Appear at Bylaw court at the date and time issued in the Summons
