Operations

The Cameron McIntosh Airport is a certified aerodrome under Transport Canada regulations.

The airfield is operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and the airport office is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

There is a landing fee for aircraft weighing over 2,000 Kg.

There is no aircraft service crew.

We provide Jet A and 100 LL AvGas fuels at the airport for self-serve refuelling. Accepted payment methods are Visa, Mastercard or Amex.

Runway

We have two asphalt runways, 12/30 and 06/24. As well as grass strips beside the runway.  06/24 (the crosswind runway) is closed and is only used at the pilot’s discretion.

  • Runway 12/30 is 5,000 feet in length and approximately 150 feet wide.
  • Runway 06/24 is 2,572 feet in length and approximately 50 feet wide.

Aircraft

You can park your aircraft at the airport for a fee. Please check ahead for fees, as they may change without notice. Fees can be paid at the Battlefords Airspray’s hanger or by making payment arrangements with City Hall. Please note, the airport does not supply tie-downs.

We do not lease hangar space for aircraft. However, there are several individuals and private firms that may lease hangar space.
