Candidate Profile: Mercy, George

Mercy George has proudly called North Battleford home since 2004. She holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Education and brings experience from education and small business. She has worked at Sakewew High School and RBC and is a local entrepreneur and operates Dejma’s Curry House for 8 years, giving her first-hand insight into the challenges faced by small businesses.

As a mother of three daughters and a son-in-law, Mercy understands the needs of families, youth, seniors, and business owners. She is actively involved in the community through volunteer service with the Saskatchewan Health Authority and fundraising efforts for Battlefords Union Hospital and the local food bank.

Mercy is running for City Council because she believes in the potential of North Battleford. Her priorities include reducing crime through community-based safety initiatives and supporting local businesses through practical, responsible policies. She is committed to listening to residents and accountability.
