Drop off your used oil, filters, containers, antifreeze, and large batteries. It is your free and easy way to help keep our city clean and green.

EcoCentre Drop‑off Services

  • Free drop‑off of:
    • Used oil
    • Oil filters
    • Empty oil containers
    • Antifreeze

Large batteries can be dropped off here; the Scale House attendant will direct you to the battery drop‑off location.

Fees

  • No entrance fee for EcoCentre items.
  • A fee applies only if EcoCentre items are mixed with regular waste.

Disposal fees

Each time you enter the WMF, there is a minimum $6 tipping fee - unless you are dropping off items only at the EcoCentre, for residential recycling, batteries, compostable materials, or clean soil.
