If you want to build a garage, you will need both a Development permit and a Building permit. To apply for a Building and Development Permit, please complete the Development, Building & Occupancy Permit Application form.

Attached garage

An attached garage is attached to the principal building on the property. Complete the check list and submit it along with your Development permit and Building permit.

Detached garage

A detached garage is not attached to the principal building on the property. Complete the check list and submit it along with your Development permit and Building permit.

This form is required if you want to construct a new detached garage on your property.
