Ref # FBM2026 - Clerk II ( Fleet and Building Maintenance Administrative Assistant) Temporary Full-Time - CUPE
The Clerk II position is responsible for providing administrative support services to the Fleet and Building Maintenance managers and staff. This position participates in administrative and office support duties such as answering phone calls, data entry, processing building maintenance work orders, and recordkeeping. In addition, the Clerk participates in financial functions, maintains office supplies, and provides support during various departmental meetings.
Temporary Full Time (3 to 6 months)
Qualifications
• Office Administration Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of previous clerical and administration experience.
• Demonstrate knowledge of accounting and financial processes.
• Excellent customer-focused approach for troubleshooting and resolving problems.
• Excellent conflict management skills are essential, and the ability to de-escalate difficult situations is required.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to interact with others effectively.
• Maintain effective, cooperative relations with staff and external relationships.
• Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers License.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Process work orders, supplier invoices, and timesheet tracking.
• Photocopy, file, type, scan, respond to emails, book appointments, sort daily interoffice mail.
• Clear and concise record keeping in maintaining equipment and building files for the Fleet and Maintenance Department.
• Administrative office duties including but not limited to: answering phones, directing calls from the public, suppliers, salespersons, responding to requests/inquiries from internal staff and redirect calls where appropriate.
• Prepare appropriate requisition forms to send into accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Year 1 $25.22 Year 2 $25.84 Year 3 $26.49
Hours of Work:
8 hrs/day; 40 hrs/week; Monday to Friday
