The City of North Battleford has a Clerk II position available in the Parks and Recreation Department. Reporting to the Community Programmer/Central Booking & Don Ross Centre Manager, the Clerk II is the first point of contact at the Parks and Recreation office located at the Don Ross Centre. The Clerk II processes facility bookings, rentals, program registrations, inquiries, and concerns. There is a high level of customer service and professionalism required in this role
Roles and Responsibilities 
•    Front-line receptionist duties, including but not limited to answering phones, directing calls, welcoming the public, and responding to requests/inquiries.
•    Prepare deposits and reports on daily cash, attendance, and registrations. Balance the float.
•    Receive payment by cash, cheque, credit card, voucher, or debit.
•    Issue confirmations, receipts, refunds, and credits. 
•    Compile, process, and prepare invoices, deposits, and month-end/year-end statistical reports.
•    Communicate, compile, and send facility schedules to staff regarding rental needs and equipment.
•    Provide office support to the Community Programmer/Central Booking & Don Ross Centre Manager, the Don Ross Facility Operators, and the Central Booking team.

Qualifications
•    Grade 12 or G.E.D. equivalent  
•    Office Administration Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience 
•    Minimum of two (2) years previous clerical and administration experience
•    Demonstrate knowledge of accounting and financial processes, scheduling or related experience
•    Excellent customer-focused approach for trouble shooting and resolving problems. 
•    Proficient with computer software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
•    Proficient in data entry and management. 
•    Demonstrate excellent time management skills.
•    Provide a satisfactory criminal record check with vulnerable sector upon hire.

Rate of Pay:         Year I $24.48 Year 2 $25.09 Year 3 $25.72 (2025 Wages)
Hours of Work:      Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
