Public Notice - Second Notice of road closure south of Riverview

PUBLIC NOTICE
CITY OF NORTH BATTLEFORD

Public Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 13 of The Cities Act that the Council of the City of North Battleford intends to consider a bylaw to authorize the permanent closing and sale of public roads shown as attached plan of proposed subdivision.

The roads to be closed may be described as follows:

• 1. The western half of the undeveloped portion of 3rd Avenue lying West of Battleford Road and East of 106 Street (St/L 10- Plan BS2804 Ext 0)
• 2. The undeveloped portion of 106 Street lying South of 4th Avenue and North of3rd Avenue (St/L 1- Plan BS2804 Ext 0)
• 3. The undeveloped portion of the laneway located between 4th Avenue and3rd Avenue (St/L 3 – Plan BS2804 Ext 0)
• 4. The undeveloped portion of 106th Street located at the corner of 106th Street and 3rd Avenue (St/L 4 – Plan BS2804 Ext 0)
• 5. The undeveloped portion of the laneway located between 4th Avenue and3rd Avenue (St/L 1 – Plan 64B05210 Ext 0)

Intent
The reason for the closure of these roadways is to facilitate the sale of land. If approved by Council, the land will be consolidated with the surrounding lots and sold as one.

Council Consideration
Any person may make speak to Council on this matter at the Council meeting on January 12, 2026 respecting the proposed road closure. Council will ask if there is any additional input from the public either present at the meeting or online, however it is best to notify the Office of the City Clerk before 4:30 PM on January 9, 2026 if you wish to speak to Council on this matter so that you are not overlooked at the Council meeting.

Representations may also be made in writing and must be received by the Office of the City Clerk on or before 4:30 PM on January 9, 2026, to be placed on the Agenda for the Public Meeting. Any written representations received after this date and time will be provided to Council at the start of the meeting.
