City of North Battleford tax notices sent; payment deadline is June 30

Property owners in the community will be receiving their tax notices from the City of North Battleford over the next few days. The City’s Finance Department mailed out all tax notices earlier this week. If you do not receive a copy of your tax notice, the City is encouraging you to contact City Hall to get a re-print.

The amounts owing will reflect the 2026 Mill Rates set by City Council earlier this month.

Payment deadlines remain the same as previous years with a due date of June 30th. Late payment penalties of 1.8% of the unpaid balance, per month, will be applied beginning July 1, 2026.

New this year on the tax notices are that TIPPS (Tax Installment Payment Plan Service) subscribers will see their adjusted monthly payment amount directly on their tax notice. This replaces the previous process of a separate letter indicating the adjusted installment amounts for August through December.

Property owners not enrolled in the TIPPS program can join at any time to make smaller, equal monthly installment payments toward their total amount owing.

The City of North Battleford offers several convenient payment options in addition to TIPPS. Payments can be made online by credit card, in person at City Hall by cash, debit, or cheque, through your bank, by mail, or by using the secure drop box at City Hall. Please note that credit card payments are subject to a 3% processing fee.

If you have questions about your tax notice or outstanding tax arrears, please contact the City’s Tax Clerk at 306-445-1700 or by email at taxes@cityofnb.ca.
