Mill Rates approved by City Council; residents can expect tax notices to be mailed no later than May 27th
Property owners in North Battleford can expect their annual property tax notices in the coming days, as the City’s Finance Department has officially set Mill Rates with Council’s approval during the May 11, 2026 Regular Council Meeting. The 2026 tax notices will incorporate a tax increase of 3.419%.

Payments for property taxes are due by June 30, 2026. Property owners are encouraged to register for the Tax Installment Payment Plan Services (TIPPS) Program to pay taxes in equal installments through December 2026. Late payments will incur a 1.8% penalty starting July 1, 2026.
If you are enrolled in the TIPPS program and your monthly installment requires modification to cover the remaining tax balance, a notification will be issued in July detailing the revised monthly installments to be paid from August through December 2026.
In addition to TIPPs, the City of North Battleford offers many other ways to make payments. This includes online payments by credit card, in person at City Hall (cash, debit payments, or cheques), through your bank, by mail, or by dropping off payments in the secure drop box at City Hall. Please note that credit card payments include a 3% processing fee.
