Celebrate Canada Day in North Battleford with a Full Day of Festivities

The City of North Battleford is thrilled to announce a full day of Canada Day celebrations on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at the InnovationPlex, 623 Carlton Trail, featuring activities for all ages, live entertainment, and a spectacular fireworks display funded by the Government of Canada.
"Canada Day is a wonderful opportunity to bring our community together and celebrate what makes our nation special," said Cheryl DeNeire, Director of Parks and Recreation. "We're excited to host a Canada Day celebration that has something for everyone—from live music and free food to activities for the kids and a spectacular fireworks finale. It's going to be a great day to celebrate as a community."
A Day Full of Fun
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., visitors of all ages can enjoy free activities including bouncy castles, arts and crafts, big lawn games, a slip n' slide, Canadian-themed games, and face painting.
Rain or Shine
The celebration will proceed rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, activities will be moved into the NationsWEST Field House, ensuring everyone can continue to enjoy the festivities.
Scheduled Entertainment and Events
- 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Live music featuring Heidi Munro and the Soul Sensations
- 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Free BBQ (while supplies last) with hotdogs, hamburgers, chips, lemonade, and water
- 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Remote Control Car Race in the parking lot with age-appropriate courses
- 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. – Free swim at InnovationPlex Battleford CO-OP Aquatic Centre
- 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. – Greetings from the City, O Canada, and cake cutting
Fireworks Finale
The celebration will conclude with a stunning fireworks display at 10:45 p.m. from King Hill, funded by the Government of Canada. Everyone is encouraged to bring blankets and gather with family and friends for an unforgettable evening.
