Weekend structure fire deemed arson following NBFD investigation

An early morning fire on Saturday that rendered a residential property a total loss has been deemed as “incendiary” or arson. The findings were released today following an investigation by officials with the North Battleford Fire Department and the Provincial Fire Marshall’s office.     
  
The North Battleford Fire Department dispatched nine personnel and five units to the fire at 1342 103^rd Street at 2:22am on Saturday, September 9^th. All units and personnel were back in service at 6:50am.         

No injuries were reported as a result of the blaze. The matter has been referred to Battlefords RCMP for futher investigation and, as such, the NBFD will not provide any further comment or updates.
