Waste Management Facility conducting controlled burn today

The City’s Waste Management Facility will be burning clean wood and tree piles beginning this morning. Staff will oversee the controlled burn at the landfill. This process is expected to take a few days.  

Should citizens see or smell smoke coming from the landfill site off Wearing Road, it is not a cause for concern and this controlled burn has been done with notification and permits from the North Battleford Fire Department.
