Traffic lights at 11th Ave/100th St under construction June 1st

City of North Battleford Public Works staff are advising those travelling to approach the 11th Avenue/100th Street intersection with caution tomorrow after 9am.

Traffic lights are scheduled for regular maintenance and the major intersection will operate as a 4-Way Stop until the traffic lights are functional. Construction is anticipated to continue until 4pm at the latest on June 1st.

4-Way Stops operate on a “first in, first out” basis. This means that traffic yields to the vehicle that has arrived first. The City of North Battleford also cautions drivers to be watchful of pedestrians who may be crossing this intersection on foot or by bicycle.

The City of North Battleford has issued a Voyent Alert! to highlight the importance of this traffic interruption. Stay connected with all public alerts issued by the City by downloading the Voyent Alert! app on the Apple or Google Play Stores – visit https://www.cityofnb.ca/community-safety-support/protective-and-emergency-services/public-alerts/ for more information.
