“Toys for Tickets” kicks off December 1st in North Battleford

Getting a parking ticket is not overly pleasant, but the City of North Battleford is offering recipients the chance to spread some goodwill this holiday season.

Between December 1 and 19, 2025, people who receive a parking ticket from Community Safety Officers can choose to pay their fine by donating a new toy of equal or higher value - early payment discounts still apply. Donors should bring unwrapped toys, along with the purchase receipt, to City Hall. Santa’s elves will gather all donated items and deliver them to the Battlefords Interval House.

Parking tickets under the City’s Traffic Bylaw No. 1946 range from $20-$60 depending if they are paid prior to the discount period deadline. The City of North Battleford looks forward to supporting this worthwhile cause in our community.
