Structure fire destroys residential property on 110th Street
Officials with the North Battleford Fire Department are investigating the cause of a structure fire reported last night at 951-110th Street. Firefighters responded to the call at 8:33pm and upon arrival, noted the structure was fully engulfed.
The structure, which the Fire Department has declared a total loss, was unoccupied at the time of the blaze and there were no reported injuries to residents or civilians. A responding firefighter sustained a minor injury and received treatment from WPD Ambulance personnel at the scene.
In addition to fire and paramedics, Battlefords RCMP members attended to assist with traffic control. The streets near structure were closed for several hours, prompting the City of North Battleford to issue a Voyent Alert. NBFD units remained on scene until 3:38am on Wednesday.
Additional information about the cause of the fire will be released upon completion of the NBFD investigation.
