State of the City event set for April 3 in North Battleford

The final State of the City event for the current City Council will take place in a few short weeks, with Mayor David Gillan as the keynote speaker.

The event is slated for Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 11:30am-1pm at the Dekker Centre for the Performing Arts. Generous contributions from gold event sponsors BeePlus Office Supplies and Napa Auto Parts have helped lower ticket prices this year to $17.50 per ticket, taxes included. Ticket prices include a catered lunch from a local business.

Some of the topics attendees can expect to hear about will include: community safety and wellbeing, regional partnerships, economic development, and major projects. Attendees will also have the chance to ask questions following the Mayor’s comments.

Any profits from ticket sales will be donated to the Battlefords District Food and Resource Centre. A maximum number of 200 tickets for the State of the City event will go on sale Friday, February 16th at 12pm and will be available in person at City Hall, or online.
