Public notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 13 of the Cities Act that the Council and the City of North Battleford intends to consider a Bylaw to authorize the permanent closing and lease of part of Range Road 3162 shown in the outline on the sketch below and described as follows:

All that portion of Range Road 3162, Blk/Par A Plan 102012624 Ext 0 in the NE-22-43-16-W3 lying within the bold line on the map below.

Intent

The proposed bylaw is intended to permanently close and transfer the west 7.5 metres of the 15‑metre road widening of Range Road 3162, Blk/Par A Plan 102012624 Ext 0 in the NE‑22‑43‑16‑W3. Sask Power requires the property for the Yellowhead Power Station. The portion of the road widening to be closed and transferred is shown outlined on the above image.

Council Consideration

Any person may make a presentation at the Council meeting on April 27, 2026 respecting the proposed road closure. Requests must be received by the Office of the City Clerk on or before 4:30 PM on April 17, 2026, to be placed on the agenda. Any request to make a presentation on this matter after this date and time will be at the discretion of Council.

Representations may also be made in writing and must be received by the Office of the City Clerk on or before 4:30 PM on April 17, 2026, to be placed on the agenda for the public meeting. Any written representations received after this date and time will be provided to Council at the start of the meeting.
