NOTICE OF POLL

City of North Battleford 2026 Municipal By-Election

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that:

1. A Poll has been granted for the election of:
   COUNCILLOR (1) City of North Battleford
2. Voting will take place on Wednesday, January 21st, 2026, from 9:00am to 8:00pm at the Chapel Gallery – 891 99 Street, North Battleford.
3. The Returning Officer will declare the official result of the election at City Hall on Thursday, January 22nd, 2026. Unofficial election results will be posted online on Election Day following the close of polls and when result tabulation is complete.

NOTICE OF ADVANCE POLL

Advance Polls for voting in advance of Election Day will be held at the following location on the following dates and times:

Chapel Gallery – 891‑99th Street

• Wednesday, January 14th, 2026 – 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm
• Saturday, January 17th, 2026 – 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm

NOTICE OF SPECIAL POLL

MAIL‑IN BALLOTS

[Section 92 of the Act]

Mail‑in Ballot applications will be accepted via email or in person at City Hall at 1291‑101st Street during regular business days and hours until 4:30 pm on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026. Email applications must include a copy of two pieces of eligible identification.

Mail‑in Ballots must be received not later than 8:00 pm (the close of polls) on Wednesday, January 21st, 2026, to be included in the vote count.

HOMEBOUND VOTING/MOBILE POLL

[Section 30 of the Act]

Homebound/Mobile Poll voter applications are available from the Returning Officer at City Hall or by mail or email. Appointments can be made by calling 306‑445‑1700 to request mobile polling at the voter’s residence by an Elections Official. Deadline to complete applications for mobile poll voting is Saturday, January 10th, 2026. To qualify for homebound/mobile poll voting:

• The voter must be unable to attend an established polling place by reason of disability or limited mobility; or,
• The voter requires specific care by reason of disability or limited mobility by a resident caregiver, and the caregiver is unable to assist the voter in attending an established polling place to vote.

VOTER REGISTRATION

The City of North Battleford is utilizing a municipal voters list for the 2026 Municipal By‑Election.

If you did not register with Elections Saskatchewan previously, and you are wishing to preregister for the municipal election, please submit a voter registration form via email or in person at City Hall.

Voter registrations, applications to correct information or to remove voters will be available until Tuesday, January 6th, 2026.

All forms can be found online at cityofnb.ca/elections and emailed when complete to elections@cityofnb.ca. Forms may also be obtained at City Hall during regular business hours. Voters not registered prior to January 6th, 2026, will be able to register at Advance or Election Day polls.
