Motorists travelling Thursday through Highway 16 & 40 intersection urged to exercise caution as traffic lights receive upgrade
The traffic signal lights at the intersection of Highway 16 & 40, adjacent to Parsons Industrial Park, are receiving a significant upgrade on Thursday, November 20th.
The signal lights at this intersection will be turned off for the majority of Thursday as they receive upgrades, including installation of sensor cameras to trigger a signal light change, improving the flow of traffic.
Personnel from ATS Traffic will be present at this intersection while the signal lights are off to assist with conducting traffic and flagging. Traffic speed limits will be reduced leading up to and through the intersection. Due to the volume of traffic at this intersection, motorists are asked to use extreme caution and respect on-site direction from traffic personnel.
Work is expected to finish late Thursday, and the City of North Battleford thanks the travelling public for its cooperation during this upgrade.
