List of candidates confirmed for 2026 Municipal By-Election in North Battleford

The nomination papers have been filed, and the full list of candidates vying for a vacant City Councillor position in North Battleford has been confirmed.

With the Nomination Day (December 17th) and deadline for withdrawal (December 18th) now passed, the City’s Returning Officer advises the following individuals will be on the ballot for the by-election scheduled for January 21, 2026:

• Gail FESER
• Mercy GEORGE
• Donald MERIAM
• Daniel SUBERLAK
• Alan WIESE

Mail-in ballot applications for eligible voters who are unable to physically attend any polls are now available until January 20th, 2026. Voters wishing to attend polls in person may do so at two Advance Polls on Wednesday, January 14th from 2-8pm and Saturday, January 17th from 12-6pm. On By-Election Day, January 21, 2026, polls will be open from 9am-8pm. All polls will be located at the Chapel Gallery.
