City Waste Management Facility rates set to increase on March 1

For the first time in seven years, the City’s Waste Management Facility (WMF) rates will be increasing as of March 1, 2024. The nominal rate increases were approved by City Council during the January 22, 2024 Council Meeting. These rate changes were not unexpected as Administration factored these new amounts into the City’s 2024 Budget.         

The new WMF rates, entering effect on March 1, are outlined* as follows:

The City’s Waste Management Facility continues to operate a winter hours of operation schedule, open Monday-Saturday from 9am-5pm. For questions relating to the upcoming rate increases, please contact the City’s Assistant Director of Operations at 306-445-1722.
