City’s 2024 Assessment Roll now open till April 22

City of North Battleford residents can access the 2024 Assessment Roll from now until Monday, April 22, 2024. During this time, any person who wishes to appeal their SAMA (Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency) property valuation may do so. Appeals may only be filed during this timeframe.            

The City’s external Assessor conducts revaluations of properties based on a 4-year cycle. The City is currently in its last year of the 2019 revaluation assessments. Therefore, 2024 property values are reflective of the market conditions as of January 1, 2019. Next year will be another revaluation year.           

Residents who would like more information have the following four options:           

1. The City will host Open House sessions on April 11 and April 12 at the Don Ross Centre, however, these sessions are by appointment only. Appointments can be virtual or in person.
2. Residents may review their property assessments on SAMA’s website.
3. Residents who would like to discuss their assessment can contact SAMA directly.
4. Residents can request property assessments by City Hall. It is encouraged that residents make an appointment with the City’s Tax Clerk before attending City Hall.

City residents may also change their designated school support until April 22^nd. To request a change, please contact the City’s Tax Clerk.
