City of North Battleford - Saskatchewan

Sanitary Sewer Upgrade

City of North Battleford Mega Project

The City of North Battleford will be commencing construction on a new Force Main, new Sewage Pumping Station, and the decommissioning of the old Sewage Treatment Plant to provide long-term sanitary service for the residents of North Battleford.

This investment in infrastructure is needed for the continued growth of our City. Without this planned expansion to accommodate capacity, the current infrastructure would not be able to handle the growing North Battleford population. Additionally, with our changing climate, extreme weather events are becoming more regular. Current infrastructure can become overwhelmed by extreme rain events causing sewer backups for property owners or potentially cause untreated sewer overflow into the North Saskatchewan River. This infrastructure will protect residents and our environment.
