The City of North Battleford is launching a new emergency communication system using Voyent Alert! smart notification service. Voyent Alert! is a multi-purpose communication service used to send alerts to residents, businesses, and visitors during critical events like fires, floods, and significant weather events or day-to-day communications such as water and snow advisories, and planned maintenance.
“We are excited to be launching this new and innovative service for our residents,” said Director of Protective Services and Fire Chief Lindsay Holm. “We chose Voyent Alert! services because it is user-friendly and efficient, which means residents will get critical information when they need it most. This is an improvement to our emergency response capacity and will keep residents safe and informed.”
North Battleford residents are encouraged to download the Voyent Alert! app for free from the Apple or Google Play app stores or register online at https://register.voyent-alert.com.
The City will be issuing a test notification in the coming weeks to increase awareness and familiarity with the service.
