Installation of Smart Water Meters Back on Schedule
Appointments may be booked now through March 2022
October 5th 2021

After experiencing delays due to contractor staffing shortages, the City of North Battleford’s Smart Water Meter installation is back on schedule. KTI Limited is contracted by the City to perform the installations and has returned to a full staff complement.

The City of North Battleford will again be implementing the mandatory conversion process. Starting October 12, 2021, those properties in Zones 2 – 9 that have received a minimum of 3 communications from the City and have not booked an installation appointment may receive notice of a pending water shutoff. To avoid notice of pending water shutoff, please book your installation appointment immediately. As installations progress, new zones will be opened and residents will receive a letter from the  City and KTI Ltd. prompting them to book an appointment.

Appointments may be booked now through March 2022. Appointments are available during the morning, afternoon, evening, or on weekends.

To book your appointment, please call 1‑833‑543-8807 or book online at

Your booking password is your utility account number including dashes (for example: 100-1010101-101). Your utility account number may be found on the top left-hand corner of your utility bill. To see a sample utility bill, please click here.

KTI Ltd. requires that all installers are fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Their installers continue to follow stringent prevention protocols and will complete daily screening, homeowner questionnaires, masking and hand sanitizing.

The City continues to maintain an accommodation policy for individuals with high-risk pre-existing conditions related to COVID-19 and will work within reason to accommodate installation requests for these residents. However, the presence of COVID-19 in the community is not sufficient cause to postpone or delay booking an appointment.

For any questions or concerns regarding the Smart Meter installation process, residents may contact Jeff Blanchard at 306-445-1722 or
