All-Terrain Vehicles – Not for City Street Use
Be a good neighbour, keep your ATV off residential streets and hiking trails
May 13th 2021

All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) are designed for off-road use and are not permitted use in the City of North Battleford, as per Bylaw 1675. ATVs are not permitted for use on the Pee Gee Man Trail or the North Shore Trail systems by the North Saskatchewan River Valley. ATVs degrade the trails and are a safety hazard to hikers and cyclists.

Bylaw 1675 authorizes and empowers the RCMP to seize and impound any ATV driven in contravention of the Bylaw for a period of up to 30-days. ATV use on residential streets can result in the issuance of a Bylaw Provincial Ticket starting at $80 up to $580 depending on the infraction.

Permitted Use Areas
You can drive your ATV on Crown land and highway right of ways, or private land with permission from the landowner or person living on the land.

Be a good neighbour, keep your ATV off residential streets and hiking trails.
