On Tuesday, October 1st, 2019, the water tower will be isolated from the water distribution system. The City of North Battleford Water Works Department will be performing a system check on the water tower. This proactive diagnostic testing will provide useful information to understand the performance of the water tower. Identification of possible performance and maintenance issues allows for strategic maintenance decisions to be made, ensuring the longevity of this iconic asset.

During this system check, the water will be safe to consume. Pressure fluctuations, pressure reductions and water disturbances may be experienced throughout various areas of the City while the system check is performed.

The water tower is scheduled to come out of isolation and reconnected to the distribution system on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2019.
