City of North Battleford - Saskatchewan
Back alley pruning to start May 10
News Release
May 9th 2018

Back Alley Pruning will commence May 10 and will take place in the back alleys of the following areas:
All back alleys in the area from 100th Street and east of 100th Street to Territorial Drive as well as Railway Avenue east from 100th Street to Territorial Drive (refer to attached map).

Contractors will move through back alleys removing trees and clearing overgrowth along fence lines to ensure emergency services, public works equipment, contractors and service providers have access to the service corridors located in these areas. Any tree, shrub, or overgrowth noted outside of the fenced areas will be removed. Tree and shrub heights extending from private yards that cannot be completely cut back will be pruned to a height of 15 feet.

As crews move through the back alleys, signage will be placed at both entrances to the back alley indicating the alleyway is closed to all pedestrian and vehicular traffic until the work is completed.  Thank you in advance for accommodating our crews and allowing them to get the work done in a timely, efficient and safe manner.
