Fort Battleford National Historic Site

The district headquarters for the North West Mounted Police in 1876, the fort and five original buildings house a collection of artifacts recalling the conflicts related to Indian uprisings and the Riel Rebellion. In the immediate area are a number of other historic sites of the same period.

Western Development Museum and Pioneer Village

This 110-acre site records the development of agriculture on the Canadian Plains. A complete town of original buildings, including a grain elevator, set the scene for a tourist's adventure into the world of early farm machinery, steam-powered locomotives and the arts and crafts of Saskatchewan's pioneers.
