The North Battleford Civic Center has seating capacity for 2500 spectators and serves as the home of the Battleford North Stars. It also hosts other large events such as the Kinsmen Indoor Rodeo, concerts and cabarets. Smaller city arenas are also available.

The North Battleford Kinsmen Aquatic Centre is an indoor facility operating year round. The centre offers a complete aquatic program including public swim sessions, Red Cross and Royal Lifesaving Society lessons and Water Fitness classes. Other amenities include a steam bath and exercise room. The centre is also home to an active Winter Competitive Swim Club and Synchronized Swim Club.

Don Ross Community Center

The Don Ross Community Center provides community meeting rooms for groups from 8-100 people as well as a gymnasium that is used by community groups. The center also has facilities for banquets and conferences for up to 500 people.

Battlefords Sailing Club

Located on the south shore of Jackfish Lake in the village of Meota, the Battlefords Sailing Club has been actively promoting recreational and competitive sailing for almost 40 years. Every summer the club offers at least one sailing school, holds pleasure craft operator courses (qualification for obtaining a PCO card) as requested, and hosts one of Saskatchewan's largest sailing regattas during the long weekend in August. The Saskatchewan provincial Laser and Byte championships are part of the regatta. In 2002, BSC's annual regatta will also be the Canadian Yachting Association's SailWest regatta, drawing sailors from all over Western Canada and some from the U.S. as well.
